Introduction

7J_M

Hello everyone.

I hope the first week of classes wasn't too confusing. Many of you were leveled up so there was a bit of confusion about your books. Congratulations for being leveled up though :-)

Remember to see Irene to Josh in the English Department to get you replacement books. ALSO, if you don't want to keep you old book, don't throw it out! Give it to Irene, Josh, Ms Ramalho or me and we can find a use for it.

Some of you have asked me which books you need to bring to class. Since I am teaching you both Literature and Language Arts I may switch between the books if I can use one to support the other. Therefore you should bring your novel, Holes; your grammar book, Grammar, Usage, & Mechanics 7; your Readers' Companion Bronze; and both of your notebooks.

Remember you will also need a portfolio which will stay in the classroom.

I hope you still have the Course Policy paper I gave you.

My school email is d_manthorne@kcbs.tpc.edu.tw

See you in class.
